Uganda Lunar Coffee is a decaf lot from the Lunar Coffee processing station in the Rwenzori region, grown at 1,600-1,800 m a.s.l. on the Kenyan-origin SL28 and SL14 varieties, washed for clarity and elegance, then decaffeinated using the sugarcane (ethyl acetate) method to preserve character. It's noted for unusual cleanness and gentleness for a decaf, with nougat and dried-fruit sweetness throughout. On filter, nougat, fig, and chocolate depth come through in a very clean, gentle cup; on espresso it shows slightly brighter acidity with hazelnut butter, plum, and dried apple. Roasted omni-style for both filter and espresso.
