A washed Marshel varietal from Peru, a rare and likely Catimor-derived cultivar that drew attention after scoring 92.28 to win the Peru Cup of Excellence in 2019, outperforming more established varietals like Gesha. Unusually for a coffee of this cup quality, Marshel is also noted for strong disease resistance. Expect a clean cup with a pleasing balance of acidity and sweetness, showing elegant yellow and green fruit notes.
