Kenya Baragwi Guama filter
Roaster: Be Café
Description
Grown on rich volcanic soil at 1700-1800m at the foot of Mount Kenya, this lot comes from the historic Baragwi Farmers Cooperative Society (founded 1853) and is processed at the Guama washing station, built in 1974. Cherries are hand-picked, washed in water from the local Kaboyo river, and dried on African raised beds. The cup delivers a juicy, complex fruit-and-tea character, with bright blackcurrant and red grapefruit up front, a clean black-tea-like body, and a sweet honey finish.
