Kaganda AB is processed at the Kaganda Coffee Factory washing station in Murarandia, Murang'a County, Central Kenya Province, at 1800 masl. Founded in 1970 and now owned by the Kaganda Farmers Cooperative Society (around 1050 members), the station covers just over 5 acres and receives daily cherry deliveries of Kenya's signature SL28 and SL34 varieties from smallholders in the surrounding villages of Gathiru, Gathaithi, Gathambara, Gatuongo, and Kagaa, combined into a single lot from hundreds of producers. It is roasted for filter brewing, offered whole bean or ground for French press, aeropress, or pourover.
