An Indian Robusta from the Karnataka highlands, processed using the traditional monsooning method in which the beans are exposed to weeks of humid monsoon winds after harvest, giving it a distinctive character. Stronger and more bitter than arabica, with a high, dense crema, chocolate undertones beneath its pungency, and low-to-medium acidity - a high-caffeine coffee for when you need a real lift.
