Description

Grown by smallholders in Honduras' Marcala region near the El Salvador and Guatemala border at 1500-1700m, mostly Catuai variety, farmed organically without chemical fertilizer and fully washed. Sweet apricot and a touch of oriental spice lead, joined by apple, wild rosehip and mandarin, and finishing on cocoa, dark chocolate and nuts. Graded SHG (Strictly High Grown, above 1200m), with good body and medium acidity.
