Sourced from Huehuetenango, one of Guatemala's non-volcanic growing regions, grown at elevations up to 2,000m. Coffee only became Guatemala's main export crop in the 1800s, after a locust plague wiped out the indigo plantations that had dominated agriculture until then. A sweet, well-balanced cup with distinctive winey notes and a pleasant, gentle acidity.
