Gito ('tiny' in Kinyarwanda) is a small-screen-size lot from the Kilimbi washing station on Lake Kivu, Rwanda, sourced through Raw Material. Beans this small are traditionally sold only in the domestic market, but Kilimbi isolated, density-sorted, and cupped them separately, finding the quality held up and letting producers earn a better price for this part of their harvest. Cherry reaches the station by boat, the only practical way in given its lakeside location on the border with the Democratic Republic of Congo.
