E1 Project Espresso is the flagship of Clifton's direct-trade sourcing programme, launched in 2015 with El Salvadoran producer Ricardo Lima and his family. Over a decade on it remains one of the roastery's most popular coffees and represents the foundation of a supply chain where roughly 90% of Clifton's volume is now bought directly from origin.
