Grown by Bertha Huaylla Sayllo and her family in the high-altitude, remote Tablahuasi area of Cusco, Peru. The lot is a rare local variety known as Gesha SL9 ('Geisha Inca'), genetically related to Kenya's SL-09 with some Bourbon influence, found only in this part of Cusco. The farm's elevation and consistent access to fresh irrigation water contribute to its distinctive cup.
